Glutamine is a non essential an alpha amino acid involved in the biosynthesis of proteins, lipids, regulation of the body’s pH in the kidney and the maintenance of healthy intestinal mucosa. It is essential in wound healing. Most pertinent to this cocktail, L-Glutamine is an amino acid that may promote muscle health.
Arginine is an amino acid used in the biosynthesis of proteins and plays a vital role in the cell division, wound healing, ammonia detoxification, immune function, the release of hormones, the synthesis of nitrous oxide and thus the regulation of blood pressure. Therefore, it is a protein building block that contributes to healthy blood flow and heart function.
Ornithine is a non-proteinogenic amino acid and is one of the 3 Tri-Amino acids. It helps to eliminate excess nitrogen from the body and supports a healthy stress response.
