The process
You call us/text us at (708) 719-1623) and we schedule an initial consultation for you. Prior to your initial consultation, we will have you fill out a health questionnaire providing us with your medical history and health goals.
Initial Consultation
This will serve as an initial intake to ascertain your medical history and treatment goals, in order to come up with a curated and guided health plan. Lab testing may be ordered based on information obtained from you. Initial treatment plans may be recommended.
Subsequent visits
Your treatment plan will be revisited and reviewed with you, and your progress reassessed. Lab testing may be ordered based on information obtained from you. Any lab testing ordered on the initial visit will be reviewed with you, and by this time, a health plan will be tailored for you. Visits may be recommended every 1,2,3, 6 months, or annually, depending on your baseline health status, goals, and progress. Treatments based on your goals, lab results, and progress will be recommended and adjusted.
***Please Note: The initial consultation requires a deposit credited towards the total cost of the initial consultation. Please note: We do offer other services upon request ie Physicals, Work Notes, non-narcotic prescription refills, etc as add-on service not included in our general consultation for a flat service fee.

Intramuscular Injection (IM)
An intramuscular injection is a technique used to deliver a medication deep into the muscles. The larger muscles have good vascularity, and therefore the injected drug quickly reaches the systemic circulation and thereafter into the specific region of action, bypassing the first-pass metabolism.

Intramuscular injections may be used instead of intravenous injections because some drugs are irritating to veins or are fat-soluble.
Lab Testing & Analysis
At Your Element Wellness, lab testing and analysis is part of our consultative service offered. That is, on your first or second consultation you may have testing that is recommended. From then on, our providers may recommend further labs on a routinge basis, depending on your health goals and progress.

Our services are unique in that we don't just have a computer algorithm that spits out a treatment plan. Rather, our providers analyze and interpret the results with you. We offer you a robust list of testing options as noted below. For blood draws, we can come to your home or location of your choosing, and we can even drop-ship the test to you so you may have the labs drawn by a phlebotomist of your choice; we even have at-home testing options.
At Your Element Wellness, we believe that whatever is being recommended, be it diet, lifestyle, or a treatment regimen, should be monitored with care by tracking your lab work, a surrogate marker of your internal health.

Red Light Therapy
Red Light Therapy is a treatment that may help skin, muscle tissue, and other parts of your body heal. It exposes you to low levels of red or near-infrared light. Infrared light is a type of energy your eyes can’t see, but your body can feel as heat. Red light is similar to infrared, but you can see it. Red light therapy is also called low-level laser therapy (LLLT), low-power laser therapy (LPLT), and photobiomodulation (PBM).
With red light therapy, you expose your skin to a lamp, device, or laser with a red light. A part of your cells called mitochondria, sometimes called the “power generators” of your cells, soak it up and make more energy. Some experts think this helps cells repair themselves and become healthier. This spurs healing in skin and muscle tissue.Red light therapy uses very low levels of heat and doesn’t hurt or burn the skin. It’s not the same type of light used in tanning booths, and it doesn’t expose your skin to damaging UV rays.

Peptide & Hormone Optimization
Hormone optimization may be achieved through appropriate diet, exercise, supplementation, and treatment, including peptides therapy. Peptides are chains of amino acids (the building blocks of proteins). In short, amino acids make a peptide and multiple peptides make a protein. Peptides in effect are the body's naturally occurring cell signalers and can be used in an array of treatment plans from wellness & longevity, to performance and recovery, sleep, skin, digestive health, neuroprotection, autoimmune disorders, pain, and the list goes on.
PRP Therapy
Plasma Rich Protein (PRP) therapy offers a unique and regenerative approach to aiding in wound healing, musculoskeletal injuries, and cosmetic procedures by using the human body’s natural ability to heal itself. PRP accelerates the body’s natural production of collagen and elastin to provide overall skin rejuvenation.

Some key advantages of PRP injections are that they can reduce the need for anti-inflammatories or stronger medications like narcotics. In addition, the side effects of PRP injections are very limited due to the injections being created from your own blood, your body will not reject or react negatively to them.
PROCEDURE DETAILS
A small amount of blood is drawn or removed from a vein. The blood is then processed in a centrifuge, a machine that separates blood components into different parts according to their density. The platelets are separated into blood serum (plasma), while some of the white and red blood cells may be removed. Therefore, by spinning the blood, the equipment concentrates the platelets and produces what is called platelet-rich plasma (PRP).

These activated platelets are then injected directly into your injured or diseased body tissue. This releases growth factors that stimulate and increase the number of reparative cells your body produces.
May be useful to treat

Knee Osteoarthritis
Sports Injuries
Pulled Muscles
Joint Sprains
Ligament Tears
Wounds
Hair Loss
FAQs
What makes PRP therapy different from my own blood?
Platelets release growth factors, which are proteins that essentially kick-start healing. In PRP, the plasma in question contains a higher level of platelets. This higher dose of growth factors, when returned to the body, can potentially accelerate the healing process.
What is plasma and what are platelets?
Plasma is the liquid portion of whole blood, composed largely of water and proteins. Platelets, also called thrombocytes, are blood cells that cause blood clots and other necessary growth healing functions. Platelet activation plays a key role in the body's natural healing process.
What does platelet-rich plasma (PRP) do?
Different types of PRP products are usually given as injections to heal and repair injuries. The job of platelets in the body is to help blood clot when there is an injury. The cytokines and growth factors that are in platelets can help repair injuries and encourage healing.
